How do I change or cancel my order?

If you need to change or cancel please contact customer support as soon as possible. We will do our best to help depending on the order’s status. Once the order is processed or shipped changes or cancellations may not be possible.

What is your return or exchange policy?

If you are unsatisfied, contact us within 60 days of receiving your product to request a return or exchange.

What warranty or guarantee do you offer?

Our soaking trays come with a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Depending on the case, you may get a replacement or a refund.

Are Good Bits soaking trays safe for tortoises?

Yes - our trays are designed specifically for tortoise hydration and soaking, with shallow sides for easy entry/exit and stable, non-tip bases. Still, adult supervision is recommended when animals are soaking to ensure their safety.

Soaking Tray Questions

Will this tray actually hold a large tortoise?

Yes - it’s designed for 60–150 lb tortoises. The tray sits flat on the ground with no flex, no tipping, and no cracking, even with big Sulcatas.

Is the depth safe for daily soaking?

Absolutely. It’s shallow enough for safe entry and exit, but deep enough for proper hydration and shell care. No drowning-risk levels like deep bins or kiddie pools.

What is the tray made of, and is it reptile-safe?

It’s made from heavy-duty, non-toxic, BPA-free plastic (PP). Sanctuary-grade, sun-safe, and proven for long-term reptile use indoors or outdoors.

Can it stay outside in sun and weather?

Yes. It’s UV-resistant and built to handle heat, hose water, soil, and everyday use. Perfect for outdoor enclosures and warm climates.

How do I clean it?

Just dump the water and rinse. The smooth, sturdy surface doesn’t trap dirt, so cleaning takes seconds.

What size tortoises can comfortably use it?

Medium and large species - including Sulcata, Leopard, Aldabra, Red-Foot, Greek, and Hermann’s - can easily walk in, soak, turn, and walk out.

Accessories Questions

Are the accessories compatible with both Medium and Large soaking trays?

Good Bits offers two tray sizes — Large 35" and Medium 28". Each accessory is made to match its corresponding tray size for a perfect fit. Just select the size that matches your tray when purchasing.

Can accessories be used outdoors?

Yes — inserts, fountains, and covers are made for indoor or outdoor setups. We recommend storing accessories indoors when not in use for longest lifespan.

How do I clean the inserts and tray accessories?

Simply rinse with water or wipe down with mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing to keep prints and materials in good condition.

Are the materials safe for tortoises and reptiles?

Yes — all accessories are BPA-free and selected for safety, hydration, and enrichment.

Do inserts need to stay in the tray during soaking?

They can, but it’s optional. PVC inserts work great for enrichment and visual setups, while artificial grass is best used dry for drying-off or resting zones.

What accessory should I start with?

A soaking tray paired with a solar fountain and weather-resistant cover is an ideal starter setup — the fountain keeps water moving and fresh, while the cover protects it from leaves, debris, and sun between uses.

What comes in each bundle?

Each bundle includes a Good Bits Soaking Tray plus the selected accessory — such as a Cover, PVC Insert, Artificial Grass, or Solar Fountain, depending on the set you choose.

How do I choose the right size?

Bundles are available for Medium 28" or Large 35" trays. Please choose the size that works best for your tortoise.

Can I use the accessories outside?

Yes. All bundle accessories are outdoor-friendly, but we recommend storing them inside when not in use for the longest lifespan.

Are the accessories removable and easy to clean?

Absolutely. All inserts can be lifted out and rinsed, and the tray wipes clean easily with water or mild soap.

 Which bundle is best for beginners?

For outdoor hydration, we recommend the Soaking Tray + Solar Fountain or Soaking Tray + Cover bundles for moving water and protection between uses.

Can I add more accessories later?

Yes - accessories are interchangeable! You can add PVC inserts, grass, covers, or fountains anytime to expand your setup.
